Who are annoying celebrities to you?

Who do you see as annoying and would like to ask to please go away?

Here are mine: the Kardashian kids. Dad, as a criminal defense attorney, was the only one who did anything really of interest. Seems to me kids are hanging on their late father Robert's coattails looking for attention.

Mary Lou Retton. See Mary Lou on the cover of a motivational novel. See her plug vitamins, or talk about being a working mom. Say, no one has ever done that before. See her comentary every four years at Olympic time. Honey, the vault without fault was over 25 years ago. Let the rest of us wonder what happened to you and wish you well.

I don't think Silver Medal winner Shawn Johnson stuck around long enough to be truly annoying, but for a time she was entirely too visible. A talented athlete, oh yes, but am I really interested in her walk to find a cure for breast cancer or what the then 16 year old thought of the presidential election? I think after the stalking incident she decided to lay low.

Gisele Bundchen...shut up and shoot. No one is interested in your commentary about parenting, or breast feeding. Just get in front of that camera, if you can find a good vehicle for your talents like "Taxi" with Queen Latifah please pursue that, but I'm not interested in anything else.

Mike Eruzione, baby, the Miracle on Ice was back in '80. Try obscurity for awhile. Although I will agree with him on one thing...he is an endorser or medical care at Melrose Wakefield Hospital, and that is the only hospital in this area I trust for my care.

Who are your picks?

Anyone who has ever appeared on a reality show! John and Kate Goselyn in particular... Paris Hilton...
In terms of musicians, Katie Perry! She is so annoying!

Post 3 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 11-Aug-2010 17:59:10

More: Tom Brady. Obey the law on pitbulls like everyone else while you're here, than go back to California and parent your first son. Seeing your travels to western Europe and Latin America is annoying. Fun and friends should be the last consideration for a father who now has a second son as well.

Lindsay Lohan: She didn't do a bad job of the "Freaky Friday" movie, but what has she done since? I could get pulled over for DUI if I wanted to. All I'd have to do is start drinking again.

Mel Gibson: Just go away. I would forget about an attempt at child custody, seeing as your racist and threatening rants were taped, and just go away. I couldn't understand what all of the fuss was about when he was a big name, now, in the wake of drunken antisemitic and other rants, I know I was right all along. Don't see any parts coming his way. Any more?

The Goselyn's and the Duggars...I will pay them all to go into "What Ever Happened To" land!

Post 5 by CrazyMusician (If I don't post to your topic, it's cuz I don't give a rip about it!) on Wednesday, 11-Aug-2010 18:02:17

Yeah... Lindsay Lohan.. YES! GO AWAY!
How about Miley Cyrus? She's a skimpily-dressed semi-talented teenager who grew up in showbusiness... so what?

Post 6 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 11-Aug-2010 18:40:00

Miley Cyrus....blech...what ever did happen to her more talented father, Billy Ray, of "Achey Breaky Heart" and "Where Am I Going to Live When I Get Home" fame?

Post 7 by CrazyMusician (If I don't post to your topic, it's cuz I don't give a rip about it!) on Wednesday, 11-Aug-2010 18:44:09

Let's just say this: They're all overweaning, overpaid premadonas who make more money than God and don't do a helluva lot for it.
We're a crazy messed up crowd: Call engineers who make things / solutions for people dorks while staring woozily and hypnotically at human creatures that themselves may not pass the Turing test that often.

I'm tired of all the celebs who can't seem to stay out of rehab and who should all probably end up in some sort of permanent rehab for the rest of their miserable lives.

I'm tired of Sarah Palan and her kids and her lousy excuse for an almost son-in-law who will soon be having his own reality show.

I'm tired of all the "real housewives" from whatever city.

I'm tired of anyone who had a dozen kids or runs for public office or goes on a TV show loking for a husband or wife just to get to celebrity status.

In short, I'm tired of just about everyone.

Sarah Palin definitely. I definitely think her head's on far from straight if she can't even give a straight answer to a simple question during an interview (neither could John McCain come to think of it). And while I did vote for McCain my heart wasn't entirely in it. But it was either him or Obama and while I respect Obama for being the first mixed-race president and thought he handled himself better overall than McCain I definitely am no supporter. Oh and definitely John and Kate. And then of course there's Nadya Suleman (I think that's how you spell her name), who if I'm not mistaken has gotten a number of death threats since having all those babies, as have several people who have offered their organizations' assistance for those kids' care. Lindsay Lohan of course and yes Katy Perry as well. So you kissed a girl. More power to you if that's your thing. Now please, give it a rest. And I totally agree about Mel Gibson. I also have a rather large beef with Tom Cruise after his comments about Brooke Shields taking antidepressents to help overcome the severe postpartum depression she experienced after the birth of her daughter Rowan. So your religion frowns on psychiatry. All well and good, but leave the rest of us alone.

Post 13 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 20-Aug-2010 12:31:26

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and their brood. Enough already.

Jennifer Aniston. I do not care about her man troubles, empty womb, or desire to be a mother w or w/o a man. Go away already, or shoot a good comedy.

Post 14 by CrazyMusician (If I don't post to your topic, it's cuz I don't give a rip about it!) on Friday, 20-Aug-2010 12:56:26

AMEN to all of these! And Avril lavigne. You havent released any new music in like four years... so you're Canadian? That's nice; that doesn't mean we want to hear her music or hear about how she got the F word tattooed on her chest with her rebound boyfriend after her marriage broke up... SO WHAT?

Um...Miley Cyrus, bad infouence on the already fast little girls these days and come on Billy Ray think about it...Lindsey Lohan kill yourself we've had enough!

Post 18 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Wednesday, 25-Aug-2010 12:35:09

Speaking of annoying celebrities, Lindsey Lohan is out of rehab after just a couple weeks? Give me a break! I thought the judge said that even though she was let out of jail early, she would not be let out of rehab early.

And Paris Hilton was in the news again. Again, enough!

And Tiger Woods and his wife are finally divorced. Since he can't win a tournament anymore and he is finally divorced, maybe we won't have to hear about him every time we turn around.

Post 19 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 7:41:27

Why is Tiger Woods' divorce even newsworthy? One of the local radio stations is featuring him this morning. He brought in on himself through his behavior, enough coverage already!

Post 20 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Thursday, 26-Aug-2010 20:30:15

As for the Lindsay Lohan thing I'm not one bit surprised. And I agree about Tiger Woods. Enough already!

Post 21 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 28-Aug-2010 20:38:59

Come to think of it his now x wife is starting to irritate me as well. But I was about the least surprised person on Earth when I heard Lindsay Lohan was out of rehab again. And i don't think she's ever going to change and I think it even less likely that we've heard the last of her.

Post 22 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 12:43:35

I've actually in the past had a moderate amount of respect for Paris Hilton. I've met so many hypocrites, hey, at least with her what I see is what I get.

However, I lost it yesterday when I heard she'd been arrested on cocaine possession charges. I understand drunk & disorderly, or even when someone gets hooked on something their doctor prescribed, but cocaine is for really stupid people. Girlfriend, clean up your act already!

Post 23 by Texas Shawn (The cute, cuddley, little furr ball) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 15:28:56

any of them, I mean anyone on either side of the ile! that think we all giv a shit on ther political beliefs, what they eat for dinner that keeps them so healthy, what they drive, green peace any of there cares or wishes outside of acting.

Your an actor, intertainer, we want to see you pretend to be someone your not. We want to hear you sing what ever, after that shut up sit down and enjoy the ride!

Post 24 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 18:20:59

I tend to agree with you there. But of course that being Hollywood they can't just do what they do, be it act, sing or whatnot. That's why I don't have a whole lot of respect for the Dixie Chicks. I mean regardless of your views on Bush and the war you want to be careful how you phrase them if you're going to express them in front of millions. I understand that Natalie in particular got several death threats in the mail after that incident in London. And while i don't agree with that I can understand why people would be upset. I don't even think those three have ever really regained their following to the same extent since that business. Same with Tom Cruise after his comments about Brooke Shields and her use of Paxil to overcome her postpartum depression. I don't think his career has ever fully recovered from that. It's one thing to express your opinions on things like medicine and psychiatry and whatnot but it's quite another to put someone down because of it. I just think most celebrities are fake anymore.

Post 25 by Texas Shawn (The cute, cuddley, little furr ball) on Monday, 30-Aug-2010 22:29:42

lol. The dixie chicks were just stupid. stand up and say that when 75% of your fan base is bush lovin red necks. riiiiiite

Post 26 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Tuesday, 31-Aug-2010 16:56:03

I'm not saying I agreed with the war but I wasn't and still am not the President. But I've also never believed any of that stuff about Bush necessarily knowing about 9/11 beforehand and just allowing it to happen, or that he actually lied about weapons of mass destruction being in Iraq. Just because they didn't find any doesn't mean there weren't any. Hell, there are probably plenty of places right here in the US where such weapons could be hidden. But it seems like a lot of celebrities, whether the Chicks are among them or not, who subscribe to that sort of conspiracy theory crap. And then of course Natalie apologized later and then later still retracted the apology since even if the office of President deserves unwavering respect the one holding the office apparently doesn't. I remember reading somewhere that after her initial comments people were returning or even destroying Dixie Chicks CD's and radio stations stopped playing their music. And I've even heard that some stations still won't play them even now.

Celebrities into politics reminds me of my least favorite: Ben Affleck. I say it goes beyond annoying as I can't stand the man, I call him "Affreak" or "Aff*ck".

Anyone living in a state with a high minimum wage has to thank folks with mindsets like his, people who believe the minimum wage should be elevated. Affreak's native Massachusetts has a very high minimum wage, I& you have to pay teens TIME AND A HALF ?!?! to work Sundays. I diidn't get time and a half until I was employed full time, and most teens work part time as there are federal laws on how many hours they can work. As a result many 18-24 year olds are unemployed in Massachusetts and I believe California has a similar problem. Employers, when given a list of demands people like Affreak expect, say, "OK, for wages and demands like that, I want more qualified applicants", so new high school & relatively inexperienced college grads go without work. We are not even allowed to have a teenage training wage here, so teens can get experience to list on a resume.

Also, my pet peeve for parents is those who cannot live with one sex or the other, and want to try for the other. Affreak last year said there was "too much estrogen" in his house and "wanted a son". Insert middle finger at this home grown snot from an area dubbed locally "The People's Republic of Cambridge."

Post 28 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Saturday, 04-Sep-2010 22:09:07

Wow. Personally I think they should just stay the hell out of politics. Although I did rather agree with Melissa Etheridge when she said she wouldn't pay her state taxes after the passing of Craposition 8. If I was gay I wouldn't want to pay my taxes to the state that wouldn't let me marry my partner. But yeah, celebrities and politics is generally a recipe for disaster from what I've noticed.

Post 29 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Sunday, 05-Sep-2010 9:14:02

It seems to differ depending on whether it's liberal or conservative celebrities. I will give conservative celebrities credit...they seem to leave entertainment once they enter the realm of politics. Anyone seen Arnold Schwarzenegger or Fred Grandy since they won political office, the former in CA, the latter in IA? Didn't Kelsey Grammer try for office? Once the late Sonny Bono was mayor of a CA town, wasn't that it for him in entertainment?

Liberal celebrities, on the other hand, remind me of an adage "Chase two rabbits and both get away." Were folks rushing in droves to see Sean Penn in 21 GRAMS? What's become of Danny Glover since his mouthing off about US involvement in Iraq? Arts & politics definitely don't mix.

here is my list of celebs who should disappear. In fact, I'll be pleased to assist them. These opinions are stream of consciousness and don't imply anything like who is the most icky.

kate goslin i have a friend who was worked with her for a short time as a realtor. In real life she is as annoying, manipulative and nasty as she is on tv. Unfortunately what you see is apparently what you really get.

leonardo decraprio, i mean de caprio. too bad the movie titanic was not the real thing and he really didn't die. on the same topic kate winslet. what an annoying voice she has.

tom cruise if life were truly fair his actually intelligence would be as large as his ego is. who cares that scientologists believe in silent child birth?

brit brit ms. spears music is over produced. her tallent is strictly a target of marketers. i heard there is another album coming out soon. wish they'd sell free advil with it. just writing this has made "womanizer" reappear as a continuous playing refrain. i'm gonna scream.

andy and johnathan hillstrand bring back the cute little gecko on the geico commercials. These guys may great crab fisherman and stellar humans. Their acting is notable because it is so terrible.
any politician running for any office during the current election cycle in america. all of them are whores of babylon.

Spongebob has more annoying celebrities, what's new? OK, here goes, Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones, his wife.

I'm very sorry to hear he got stuck with throat cancer. However, I was looking @ PEOPLE MAGAZINE in the check out line yesterday, & I see his "I just don't like anyone around me when I'm ill." OK, it really is your life, but what if you are in an emergency situation? Or pass out from fatigue or something, and there's no one around? Whatever...Even more annoying, her assertion that she "just couldn't bear to see Michael infused with chemo, or in a positioning mask for radiation..." ?!?! I thought that was part of the common marriage vow, which I took 8 years ago, to be there for your partner, "in sickness and in health". No, she said ta ta as she couldn't bear the sight of him sick & headed with their children for Bermuda. And this came from someone who about 5 years ago described her family as "a little cocoon" around her. I guess if Mr. Sponge gets sick or injured I get a vacation based on this mindset.

Looking back when they were first married they aren't really into something called free speech. They sued when "unauthorized individuals" took wedding photos, CZJ citing "the pictures of me eating cake make me look fat". When she was pregnant with their little girl a photographer photographed her naked in the third trimester, smoking a cigarette out the window of a Mexican hotel. If memory serves correctly she sued to avoid these photos being published. Guess in Mexico badly behaving celebrities are entitled to cover up. I love his father Kirk Douglas; he's actually a fascinating man. MD & his second wife CZJ? Annoying annoying annoying...

omg sponge bob, I totally forgot about them. Michael douglas used to be a great actor. Wall street and that one where he was the president were extremely great movies. his wife sounds like a really self absorbed twit.

Yeah, and as far as I'm concerned she has an annoying voice as well.

Post 34 by squidwardqtentacles (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 15-Sep-2010 17:49:53

Hollywierd itself is annoying...for not coming out with anything original for moviegoers. Oh, boy, WALL STREET has a sequel now, with an older, more sickly Michael Douglas. I was looking up something on Tommy Lee Jones, an actor I like, to see what he was doing these days. I thought, "Someone shoot me if it's THE FUGITIVE III." Well, guess what's on the table for him I think to be released in '12? MEN IN BLACK III. Mr. Sponge & I went to THE EXPENDABLES. All I got out of it was the special effects, an average two star flick with major actors. There was a poster for a heartwarming, amazing, Monday night disease movie of the week with Hillary Swank. No, seriously, it was the story of a local divorced mom (god I hate the term 'single mother' as if these kids just popped up in this woman's life out of the blue) who worked her way thru GED, college & law school to exonerate her wrongfully convicted brother. Do a little more research, the Ayer locals don't remember the brother as the lovable slob he is portrayed, but as a quick tempered, violent sort. Catch it on NetFlix with my own popcorn & Pepsi, but these selections are DEFINITELY NOT worth $11.00 ticket prices or theater snacks.
